Nothing’s Transparent Headphones Are Now In Black

Nothing has presented its second product, a black version of its wireless ear headphones (1), as well as other novelties for its store.

This brand generated many expectations from the first moment, due to the fact that it was the new project of Carl Pei, founder of OnePlus, and because of the surprising advances that spoke of a very original design, with transparent pieces.

The Nothing ears (1) were the most anticipated wireless headphones of 2021, but their launch was just the beginning. Now, the company has launched a new version, in black. The changes are obvious to the naked eye: the clear plastic now has a smoked finish, and the parts that were white plastic are now matte black.

Otherwise, they seem identical to the originals, standing out for their 11.6 mm drivers, noise cancellation, and up to 34 hours of use with the case. Even the price is the same, although in theory it is a limited edition and therefore more special: they will be available for 99 euros , and we can get them in advance on December 8 at El Corte Inglés de la Castellana and Gran Via in Madrid, and Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona, as well as online.

Along with this release, Nothing has taken the opportunity to give two more announcements. The first is to confirm the carbon neutrality of the ear (1); The company has worked with third parties, such as SGS in Geneva, to analyze the carbon footprint (1.78 kg) of the production of these headphones and neutralize it.

The second announcement is the embrace of cryptocurrencies in the official Nothing store, nothing.tech. The headphones can be purchased in BTC, ETH, USDC and DOGE in Spain and other selected countries.
