Jonas Alfredson chosen to continue as permanent CEO of Lumera, with the executive office expanded to support the company’s growth. Magnus Gammelgård has been appointed as deputy CEO and COO.
Stockholm, June 28, 2024 – The Board of Lumera, an insurtech company, has appointed Jonas Alfredson as CEO. Currently serving as Lumera’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and acting CEO since February 2024, he will officially assume the CEO role on July 1.
Jonas Alfredson joined Lumera in early 2023, bringing CFO experience from both private and publicly listed tech companies, including Outpost24 and Episerver. He will collaborate closely with Magnus Gammelgård, Chief Operating Officer and deputy CEO, to execute Lumera’s strategy and vision of becoming the leading SaaS provider for the European Life and Pensions industry. Magnus, who joined Lumera in 2018, became part of the executive team in 2019, and has been instrumental in driving the company’s expansion during this period.

Lumera will next recruit Jonas Alfredson’s successor as CFO. During this search, Lumera’s Group Controller Therese Hennerberg, will take on the role as interim CFO.
