As 2023 concluded with the global furniture industry reaching approximately $740 billion, the focus now shifts to the International Istanbul Furniture Fair, scheduled from January 23 to 28. This event, revered in the sector for its tradition and prestige, is anticipated to draw 200,000 professionals from around the world.

The international furniture sector is set to gather at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF2024), happening from January 23 to 28. Organised in partnership with TUYAP Fair Organisation Group and Mos Fair Organisation, and with support from the Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED), this event is expected to welcome 200,000 industry experts from 200 countries. Over a thousand companies, representing 3,000 brands, will be showcased at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center.

Recognised as one of the most prestigious gatherings in the furniture industry, the fair, with its theme “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul,” aims to exhibit the latest 2024 designs across a variety of product groups to attendees.

Based on ResearchAndMarkets’ data, the global furniture market, which concluded 2023 with $739.44 billion, is forecasted to reach $935.9 billion by 2027. Türkiye, with its annual production of $12 billion, is poised to host its international counterparts. The IIFF will showcase a wide range of furniture, including modern modular, luxury, beds and bases, baby and children’s, youth room, garden, office-school furniture, and accessories.

IIFF2024, planned to last for six days, will organise its exhibition halls at the Istanbul Fair Center and Tuyap Fair and Congress Center, categorising them by product groups. This arrangement will enable visitors to explore a comprehensive array of products. Additionally, the fair is designed to foster a vibrant atmosphere that encourages forming new business partnerships.
